Gamers anticipating the release of the Xbox handheld, aka Asus ROG Xbox Ally, can now preorder the product from the Asus online store. Ten lucky players who preorder the product through the Asus Shop will win an accessory bundle. The price tag will likely be the talking point in the coming days.
The Xbox handheld was first revealed in June. As the months rolled by, the anticipation around the device spiked, following hands-on reviews from different game media. Ahead of the October 16 release, Microsoft and Asus have now opened the books for preorders. Players can also purchase the Asus ROG Xbox Ally from major online stores, including Best Buy and Amazon.

According to the ROG Xbox Ally product page on the Asus website, the handheld is powered by Windows 11 and gives players access to their full library of PC games from Xbox and other game stores.
What’s interesting is that with Xbox Play Anywhere, players can pick up from where they left off on their PC or Xbox console. The handheld is powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor. It features the advanced Zen 5 architecture and powerful RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics. Other features of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally include:
