EA and DICE have announced the date for the reveal of Battlefield 6. The reveal will happen on July 24, but already has thousands of people in the waiting room. At the time of writing, nearly 2,000 people are waiting for the reveal. The video description reads, “Prepare for the ultimate all-out warfare experience in Battlefield 6.

Leading up to the reveal, players from around the globe have been involved in the game’s beta test dubbed Battlefield Labs. On July 24, gamers from around the world who were not part of the beta test can finally see what the game looks like.

Motive Studio, another EA studio that is part of the game’s development, also shared the teaser video on LinkedIn with the message, “We’re excited to finally reveal what our team and our Battlefield Studios friends have been working on. 💪🪖 See you on Thursday!”

Battlefield 6 has been in development for years. EA even placed more priority on the game, drafting other studios into the game’s development. As with high-profile releases, Battlefield 6 has suffered leaks in recent months. However, there is a theory that EA ‘allowed’ the leaks as a form of marketing.

It was recently confirmed that the upcoming open beta for the game will feature a split playlist that will allow the developer to test various mechanics. For example, certain weapons will be locked to specific classes, while another has a long list of openly available arsenal.

The energy around Battlefield 6 has been mostly positive, with fans looking for clues everywhere. Under the reveal trailer, one YouTuber wrote, “Have you guys seen that every soldier in the thumbnail has a patch that represents each class? (Triangle, Hexagon, Cross, and Square). Nice detail.”
