Recent news coming out of FromSoftware shows they have been busy working on Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. The latest earnings call from Kadokawa Group, the studio’s parent company, shows that the studio also has Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC on the pipeline.

The company confirmed the sales of Elden Ring: Nightreign remained strong following on from Q1. The company is also working on further growing the sales of the original Nightreign and its DLC. It was also confirmed in the earnings call that the game performed significantly better than earlier anticipated.

“In Gaming, sales decreased despite the domestic and international strong performance of ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, compared to the previous year, which benefited significantly from the contributions of the ELDEN RING DLC,” the company confirmed.
On page 16 of the earnings report, the company confirmed that it had multiple titles in the development pipeline, both for mobile and consoles. Nightreign DLC is also currently under development and planned for release in FY2025. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is planned for release in 2026, alongside The Duskbloods.
A mobile game, titled Oshi no Ko, is also under development, and its distribution is planned to begin in 2026. The Duskbloods is a Switch 2 exclusive and will be sold on a joint basis with Nintendo Co., Ltd., with sales responsibilities divided by region.
FromSoftware recently released an Elden Ring update that made the game more difficult. Kadokawa also has lots of animations and e-books in the pipeline. It is looking like a beehive of activities out there.
