Stellar Blade, the masterpiece developed by Shift Up and published by Sony, is coming to PC. The news was announced yesterday, May 15, 2025, with a 2-minute trailer. The costume-controversial game releases on June 11. Here are all the improvements the PC version will bring—including a surprise new boss battle.
AI Upscaling
Stellar Blade will come to PC with AI upscaling and frame generation capabilities. PC gamers who use graphics cards with NVIDIA DLSS 4 or AMD FSR 3 can leverage this feature to boost the frame rate of the game. In the PC Feature trailer, it was shown how turning on DLS and MFG can boost the frames per second from 115 to 356, giving players an increased level of detail. This will be particularly useful for gamers who play on large screens.

Unlocked Frame Rates
Before Sony launched the PS5 Pro, players had to choose between capping their frame rates for slightly better performance. However, when Stellar Blade launches on PC, players can decide to unlock their frame rates. Hopefully, with the help of AI upscaling the frames will not swing too hard.
Japanese and Chinese Voiceover
When Stellar Blade launched in 2024 exclusively on PS5, it came with English voiceovers and subtitles. The PC version of the game will come with Japanese and Chinese voiceovers and subtitles. Many would be wondering why this wasn’t added to the first release, considering the game was made in Asia.
Ultrawide Display Support
If you have an ultrawide screen (resolutions from 5:4 to 32:9), it will excite you to know that the PC version of Stellar Blade with come with ultrawide support. This means players can see larger areas of the game on screen—and this is extremely exciting if you consider the mostly polished environment.
DualSense Controller Support
Like every other Sony PC port, Stellar Blade will feature full DualSense controller support with haptic feedback and trigger effects. If, like some of us, you are not used to playing PC games with a mouse and keyboard, you will enjoy a similar experience to playing natively on a PS5 console.
New Boss Battle
Another incentive that Shift Up is throwing at players to get them to purchase the PC version is the excitement of a new boss fight. PC players will get a chance to duel with the leader of the sentinels. From the feature trailer, it doesn’t seem like an easy fight.

New costumes
The standout feature of Stellar Blade has been the costumes. PC players will get to enjoy all the costumes that have been released for the game so far, including new additions. A total of 25 new costumes have been added to the game.
Higher Resolution Environment Textures
The stunning environmental design is one of the features of the game that received tremendous commendation when it was released. Shift Up is adding further spice to it with higher resolution textures that make it almost lifelike.
