There is a difference between being a fan and being a menace—and it is easy to cross the line. We have seen GTA 6 fans recklessly cross the line, damning the consequences. The other time, it was a stage invasion at Gamescom opening night live. This time, it is a TikToker harassing Rockstar North staff in the night.
The around 30-second video shared on TikTok by a user called “@backonboulevard” showed him approaching staff at Rockstar North Edinburgh office, asking them “When’s the delay?”, “When’s the next trailer?” and so on.

In the video, no fewer than two Rockstar North staff were harangued with the same set of questions. They could be seen quickly walking away from the TikToker. From a distance, one of the said, “I don’t know”, but the TikToker persisted.
The TikToker claimed that he flew over there because he was tired of waiting for answers on GTA 6. “I told you guys I wasn’t playing around,” he said.
What was even more sickening was the reactions to the video in the comment section. Only a few people thought that harassing employees of Rockstar North was wrong. Others either joked about it or spoke in favor of the action.
For example, a user with the handle Miami Heat (@bam.szn) wrote, “Just let them do their jobs bro”. In response to that comment, another user with the handle @mathias9973 wrote, “NAH THEY BEEN HAD ENOUGH TIME. OVER 10 YEARS. TIMES UP”.
Others joked that the action of the TikToker will cause the game to be delayed again. One of the sensible comments came from @davidbattersby, who wrote, “Look, we all want this game to come out, but its not gonna come out till they’re ready and its finished. Stop harassing devs”.
Actions like this should be strongly discouraged. Firstly, devs sign NDAs that bar them from talking about the games they are working on. Approaching them with a camera and asking about GTA 6 is putting their jobs on the line. Some are now calling for the TikToker’s arrest.
