Fans of Little Nightmares 3 who are eagerly anticipating the game’s release now have a definite date to mark on their calendar. The date was revealed in a new 10-minute gameplay walkthrough shared by the game’s publisher, Bandai Namco, as well as details of the content included in the various editions.
“From the creaking carousel to the flickering lights—and the many disturbing faces—you’re in for a ride,” read the video description of Little Nightmares 3 Carnevale 10-minute gameplay walkthrough.

Little Nightmares 3 is being developed by Supermassive Games, after collaborating with Tarsier Studios for the second installment in the series. The new video confirmed that Little Nightmares 3 will launch on October 10, 2025, which conflicts with the October 9 mentioned on the game’s Steam page.
“Little Nightmares III is an atmospheric adventure game in which you follow the journey of Low and Alone, two best friends in search of a way out of the Nowhere,” read the game’s blurb. “In 2 players online cooperation or solo with an A.I., work together to solve puzzles and survive in this nightmarish world.”
Little Nightmares 3 pre-order
The books opened for Little Nightmares 3 pre-orders on June 24, 2025. In addition to the game, players who pre-order a digital copy of the third installment will get Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition and the Dark Six costume set.

According to the publisher, the first installment in the franchise has undergone “technical enhancements, such as volumetric lightning and ray tracing, as well as gameplay changes like better checkpoint placement, gameplay helpers, letting more players discover Six’s journey through the Maw”.

Little Nightmares 3 will launch in four editions, namely the Standard, Deluxe, Mirror, and Spiral (Collector’s) editions. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition and above will get a pass to two additional chapters—likely coming post-launch as story DLCs—at no extra cost.
