If you are one of the die-hard Palworld fans waiting for the game’s next update, it will be coming next week. Pocketpair has announced that Palworld: Tides of Terraria will launch on June 25, 2025.
According to an announcement by the developer today through the game’s official X handle, “Palworld’s next major update brings Palworld x Terraria and more!” What is even more interesting is that the update is going for 25% off on PS Store and Steam.

To mark the launch, the developer has released a Palworld: Tides of Terraria animated trailer showing Palworld characters venturing into a dungeon to obtain the Terraria weapon, the Terra Blade.
Upon removing the weapon from its position, the cave starts to collapse, forcing the characters to run to the exit to avoid being buried in the rubble. Featured in the trailer are the Eye of Cthulhu and a silhouette that is teased as the Moon Lord and final boss of the update.
Pocketpair has hinted that Tides of Terraria is not going to be a story DLC. It will also include new content, including new Pals and islands. More on the content planned for the update will be revealed in the coming week.
Palworld launched into Early Access on January 19, 2024. The game was a major breakthrough for Pocketpair. It has attracted over 25 million players since launch and holds the record of being one of the top five most concurrently played games on Steam—although the player count has since plunged by over 95%.
Terraria is an action-adventure sandbox game developed by Re-Logic and published by 505 Games. It was launched on May 16, 2011, and has sold over 60 million copies across all platforms.
