Ubisoft just premiered the official Story of Star Wars Outlaws. At the end of the less than 3-minute premiere, it was revealed that the game will launch on August 30. Pre-orders are now available and players who pre-order the Gold and Ultimate Edition at the Ubisoft Store will get 3 days of Early Access. Included in the Ultimate Edition are:
The Base Game
This is the first-ever open-world Star Wars game. Gamers will play as Kay Vess, a scoundrel in search of freedom and the means to start a new life. In the company of her furry pet Nix, Vess will fight, steal, and try to outwit their opponents as they navigate through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and become the galaxy’s most wanted.

Star Wars Outlaws was set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Players will explore distinct planets across the galaxy including the dreaded Outer Rim, described by Vess as “a dangerous place” where “everyone is fighting for their piece of the galaxy”.
“But all I want is to live free,” said Vess. “So, I’m gonna risk it all.”
The Kessel Runner Bonus Pack
Ordering the Ultimate edition of Star Wars Outlaws, which is sold for $130, also grants the player access to the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack which includes a cosmetic pack for your speeder and a cosmetic for the Trailblazer spaceship.
Season Pass
The season pass of Star Wars Outlaws will give players access to two DLCs that will be released post-launch. According to Ubisoft, the DLCs will allow players to continue exploring the world of Star Wars Outlaws with new stories, quests, and areas to discover. It will also give players access to:
- The “Jabba’s Gambit” exclusive mission at launch
- The “Kessel Runner Character Pack” featuring additional cosmetics for Kay and Nix
Rogue Infiltrator Bundle
The Rogue Infiltrator bundle will contain additional cosmetics for Kay, Nix, the speeder, and the Trailblazer spaceship.

Sabacc Shark Bundle
The Sabacc Shark bundle includes additional cosmetics for Kay and her blaster, Nix, the speeder, and the Trailblazer spaceship.
Digital Art Book
This digital book will contain a selection of the game’s concept art and visuals and unique cinematic storyboards.
Although an August 30 release date was given to Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft was quick to mention that the offer, content, and dates are “subject to change”.
