Minecraft Live 2026 was held on Saturday, March 21, 2026. One of the big announcements during the livestream was an ongoing collaboration with Merlin Entertainments to bring Minecraft worlds to life. A Minecraft theme park will be part of London’s Chessington World of Adventures in 2027.

The theme park will feature references to the game, including food. The first-ever Minecraft roller coaster is also in production. Other considerations for the park include the world’s biggest Minecraft shop and opportunities to meet the mobs.

“This is a truly epic collaboration between Mojang Studios and Merlin Entertainments, but we also recruited creators to help with some of the trickier challenges.”
The first real-world Minecraft experience was the Villager Rescue. It gave fans a chance to mine resources, explore biomes, and even battle mobs in an immersive environment.
“This adventure is travelling the globe, and will soon arrive at Herning, Singapore, Mexico City, and Chicago,” Mojang Studios said. “We’re also working on an entirely new experience that takes place in a real forest! Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail is an outdoor nighttime adventure that’ll open soon in Buenos Aires. It will also travel to other cities over time.”

Chaos Cubed game drop showcased at Minecraft Live 2026

The sulfur cube is the newest addition to the mob. It has special abilities, including absorbing blocks, and its attributes will change depending on what it has consumed. For example, if it consumes ice, it will start sliding around, but when it consumes wood, it will start acting like a cubic ‘ball’ type-thing. The vast number of different blocks it can absorb gives players infinite experimentation.
“Develop your sulfur cube skills, and you can pull off some amazing shots, but like most things in Minecraft, things don’t always go exactly to plan!”
