Nakwon: Last Paradise is a 3rd person view zombie apocalypse stealth survival game developed and published by Nexon. It promises to let gamers experience a new form of ‘post-apocalypse life’ you’ve never seen before.

Thank you message from Nakwom director

“Nakwon is a multiplayer zombie survival game set in urban South Korea,” read the game blurb. “Venture into the city in the dead of night, and manage your shelter by day. Scavenge resources in a city crawling with the infected and hostile survivors. Survival is the only rule – trust no one, not even the living.”

The studio recently held a Closed Alpha Test for Nakwon. The test ran from March 11 to March 15, 2026. Some reports claimed signups were allowed until March 23, 2026. However, on March 16, the game director issued a statement via the game’s Steam page, thanking everyone who participated.

“We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the Closed Alpha Test,” read the statement from the director. “With NAKWON, we wanted players to experience what it’s like to live through an apocalypse alongside real people.”

“The guiding vision behind this game was to create a world where every day is a struggle to survive—sometimes against other players, and sometimes alongside them. We’d love to hear whether you felt that during this test.”

A user with the handle @EDvised wrote, “We need a control rework, and we need better movement mechanics. The whole time it felt like I was walking through wet concrete. Other than that solid base, game has potential, just needs a good bit of polish. The foundation is there!”

@DMindfulGamer wrote “The controls felt great. I enjoyed the movement mechanics. The whole time it felt like I had weight and deliberate movement. I’m ready for the game.”
