Nintendo Direct is happening tomorrow, February 5, 2026. It is going to be a partner showcase, meaning you should not expect any announcement on Nintendo’s first-party titles. The upcoming Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is envisioned to last roughly 30 minutes.
Interestingly, the upcoming games that will be showcased will be upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games. It is not clear how long Nintendo will support the original Switch before phasing it out.

Excited fans can view the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on the company’s official YouTube channel or on their smart devices via the Nintendo Today! App. As per what the content of the Partner Showcase may include, Nintendo always seals information around upcoming showcases tightly.
However, there are several high-profile titles scheduled for release later this year, including 007 First Light and Resident Evil Requiem. It will be interesting to see how many of them will make it to Switch 2.
While new title announcements are inevitable, the hype will be whether they will be new franchises or a sequel to existing franchises.
