Larian Studios was able to hit its Q1 launch window for the PC version of Baldur’s Gate 3 physical release. However, the same cannot be said of the console version. In a new update published on X, the studio said that the shipping of the physical edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 for consoles is now expected to start between April and May.

“We wanted to get the console version into the hands of players earlier, however, production issues have meant that shipping dates have been pushed back slightly,” the studio said. “Those waiting for their Xbox version will now receive 4 physical discs, rather than the 3 originally planned, so that we can provide the full game as a physical copy.”
