Microsoft Rewards is a loyalty program that rewards Microsoft product users. The reward points can be used to purchase items, loot boxes, or donate to charity. This is how one GTA 6 fan pre-ordered the upcoming release for free.

Rockstar opened the books for GTA 6 pre-orders on June 25. Since they, fans of the franchise, have been eager to secure their copies ahead of the release, notwithstanding that the Standard edition will set them back by an extra $10, compared to what they will pay for most triple-A titles.

Although the Ultimate Edition is priced at $100, Rockstar has thrown in lots of perks, including locked costumes and customization, behind the extra $20 version. These perks have made lots of fans consider purchasing the pricier Ultimate Edition over the Standard Edition.
A report from Pure Xbox shows that a player has already pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 using Microsoft Rewards points they accumulated over the past three years.
Another player posted that they are saving to get the $100 Xbox gift card to purchase the Ultimate Edition. To do that, they need 100,000 Microsoft Reward points. Microsoft product users can earn reward points through different means, including making purchases on the Microsoft Store, making purchases via Xbox consoles, and completing daily tasks, including Bing searches.
Gamers can also earn reward points by completing quests in the games added to Xbox Game Pass. However, if you don’t already have 95K+ points, it is highly unlikely that you will get up to the required 100,000 points before the end of the pre-order period. However, it is still worth a shot.
