Last week, we enjoyed the Nintendo Treehouse livestream. The Japanese gaming giant is keeping up the momentum with an Indie World Showcase planned for tomorrow, February 3, 2026.
“Join us on March 3 at 6 am PT for a new Indie World Showcase!” read the description under the video, which has attracted over 232 likes at the time of writing this post, with 189 waiting.

“Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.”
Although Nintendo is gradually nudging Switch users to upgrade to Switch 2, it is interesting to know that the company is still supporting the release of new games on the platform.
Nintendo has a way of keeping information tightly sealed. Therefore, it is not surprising that the details of the upcoming Indie World Showcase are almost nonexistent. For a 15-minute showcase, we will likely see fewer than a dozen announcements.
The last Indie World Showcase was held in August 2025 and was around the same duration. It was filled with new trailers of surprising upcoming releases, including already released games coming to the platform for the first time.
